What is the Continuing Education Program?

This program is developed for the convenience of the community. Many wish to further their Islamic education but cannot due to other responsibilities.

This program allows such members of our community to enroll in one or two courses of their liking each semester. Each class requires a tuition fee. The fee of the class varies depending on the length of the class and the number of days it take place .

These classes are much more basic and do not require any prior background in Arabic. Each class requires a minimum of seven students or else the class may not take place.


Arabic Conversation

Focuses on building vocabulary and simple sentences in Classical/Modern Standard Arabic

Classical Arabic Grammar

Introduces the student to slightly more advanced grammatical and morphological rules through reading comprehension of both classical and modern texts

Fiqh Series

Gives a detailed look into Islamic Ritual law, touching on practical implementation and giving glimpses of common differences of opinions of scholars

Islamic Finance Series

Gives a brief synopsis of the modern financial system and introduces practical solutions for the “everyday” Muslim to navigate through his/her financial affairs. Islamic finance II and III delve deeeper into the world of finance the Muslims role in it.

Sirah

Journeys into the first part of the life of the Prophet Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while deducing practical everyday jewels of guidance from their occurrences

Tafsir Series

Introduction to Science of Quranic Exegesis in addition to actual elucidation of commonly read portions of the Quran

Tajweed I (Men’s & Women’s)

Focuses on the learning of correct pronunciations and basic rules of Quranic recitation [Qaa’idah Nooraniyah]

Tajweed II (Men’s & Women’s)

Continues and builds the fundamentals learned in Tajweed I, by the correct implementation of basic and intermediate rules of actual Quran reading
